Class 35 Update

Great News! Leadership Santa Cruz County’s Class 35 program will restart after a pandemic hiatus. This will involve three key elements.

First, the Board will begin a search for a new Executive Director. Read the press release here.

Prospective applicants can find the job description and application information here. In the meantime, former Executive Director, Dave Vincent, has agreed to take on the Interim ED role. Dave has 10 years experience with the program and is looking forward to assisting with the transition.

Second, Class 35 has been notified that they can expect to complete their coursework starting in March 2022. Arrangements are already underway for both Pajaro Valley Day and Agriculture Day. It takes a community to make this program successful including sponsors, presenters, venues, transportation, and so much more. Class 35 has responded with excitement and positivity.

Third, if all continues to go well the Board intends to begin recruitment for Class 36 in the Spring of 2022. Those of you who have expressed interest in this program should keep an eye out for the official announcement for the registration of Class 36 sometime in February or March. If you have not already done so, sign up for our newsletter using the form below.

The Leadership Santa Cruz County Board hopes that you share our excitement in these developments and that you continue to support this worthwhile program.
