Education Day

Thanks to County Superintendent of Education, Michael Watkins, the Director of Inside Education, Sandy Mast, and a host of educators (k-12.), Class 33 received a wonderful insight into what is occurring in public education in our community. Field trips were arranged for visits to elementary schools, charter schools, and Career Technical Education/Alternative Education. The selected schools for these field trips were excited to share what they do with these community leaders. Many questions from the class were answered during the day. Lunch was provided by students in the Culinary Arts program. To top this off, the class then moved to the UCSC campus to hear from Chancellor Blumenthal and the new President and Superintendent of Cabrillo College.
